Handcrafted embroidery at LO NEEL

At LO NEEL , Every detail counts. Behind every embroidery, every hand-sewn bead, lies ancestral know-how and a passion for craftsmanship. Beyond fashion, our creations tell a story: that of the expert hands of women and men who perpetuate traditional embroidery techniques in our partner workshops in India.
A cultural heritage at the heart of our creations
Embroidery is an ancient art in India. Each region and community has its own techniques and symbols. At LO NEEL , we work with artisans specialized in hand embroidery, who master the most delicate stitches as well as the application of beads, sequins, and metallic threads.
Our workshops are chosen for their ethical commitment , respect for people and the preservation of traditional know-how. Each piece is embroidered with patience, far from industrial logic.
A work of threads and beads
For each collection, we carefully select the materials. The embroidery threads are chosen for their softness, hold, and shine. We favor natural or recycled materials , in line with our sustainable commitments.
The beads are applied by hand one by one, often complementing a floral, geometric, or nature-inspired motif.
Each embroidery is designed to interact with the garment: it does not simply adorn it, it gives it meaning.
The symbol of the peacock at LO NEEL
At LO NEEL, the peacock emblem appears as an elegant and symbolic signature at the heart of many embroideries, notably on their iconic shirts like the Bis Shirt, where "peacock feather ties, entirely hand-embroidered" enhance cuts in waffle organic cotton . The Fiby Green Shirt goes further by presenting two peacocks made of gold thread using the traditional Indian zari technique. This motif, conceived from the genesis of the brand, is inspired by the original drawings made in Athens in 2018 , in homage to India and its refined culture. The peacock, a mystical animal and symbol of beauty, strength and singularity, crystallizes LO NEEL's desire: to combine slow fashion, poetic aesthetics and artisanal know-how. Hand-embroidered in certified Indian workshops, these peacock feathers embody the vegan, ethical and high-end spirit of the brand.
Unique pieces, full of meaning
No two LO NEEL embroidery designs are exactly alike. That's the beauty of craftsmanship: small irregularities that reflect the human hand, the passing of time, and the precise gesture. By wearing a hand-embroidered LO NEEL piece, you're wearing a piece of history, a fragment of India, and a more responsible vision of fashion.
At LO NEEL, embroidery isn't a detail. It's a signature. A poetry of thread that connects cultures, generations, and values.
