Just like humans, animals feel suffering when they should have their own lives. Animals do not belong to us. We don't have to use them as clothing. The cruelty that millions of animals around the world endure to meet the demands of the fashion industry is overwhelming.

In fur farms , animals lose their minds. They are locked in tiny wire cages where they spend their entire lives before being violently slaughtered. The leather industry is responsible for the deaths of more than a billion animals each year: cows, pigs, goats and even dogs and cats. Crocodiles are raised in crowded ponds before being bludgeoned and skinned. Snakes are pumped to death for exotic skins. Surveys carried out in the largest wool exporting countries have revealed the suffering of sheep. They are beaten and mutilated in shearing sheds. Finally, down and feathers are used to fill jackets and coats; they are often taken from living birds to whom this torture is inflicted several times before they are slaughtered.
