IMPACT 2020

WHO'S NEXT, IMPACT, JANUARY 2020

On the weekend of January 4, we participated in the second edition of IMPACT 2020 at Who's Next!

It was an atypical second session because it was the inauguration of the new hall of the Porte de Versailles exhibition hall. In the heart of the 15th arrondissement of Paris, the show once again attracted many people. This allowed us to introduce fashion enthusiasts to our innovative and eco-responsible materials, 100% vegan or recycled. On this occasion we also presented our new pieces.

Often, the public is surprised to learn that luxury materials can be made from recycled plastic bottles, soy fibers, pineapple fibers, banana fibers and organic cotton. We take great pleasure in introducing them to new production processes and innovation in textiles. In fact, it is possible to make a very soft material, also called vegetable cashmere , made from fallen dead wood and then recycled, whose name is Viscose .

Who's Next is a conducive place for interactions, reserved for professionals and fashion enthusiasts. This once again allowed us to come into contact with a large number of boutiques, who each selected a few pieces from our first and new collection. These stores will sell the chosen pieces and will thus function as a sales relay point.

The IMPACT 2020 scenography

The challenge, through the scenography of the stand, was to convey to visitors the LO NEEL spirit just through a look. That's why we used eucalyptus as a central element. It is a plant that communicates a poetic, noble and ethical image of the brand. We also wanted to recall the Indian inspiration of the LO NEEL collections by regularly having small accessories. We have selected cushions with embroidery similar to that of our pieces, carried out by hand by our Indian collaborators.

Luxiders Magazine

Luxiders Magazine selected our brand to be part of its sustainable editorial. On this occasion, a professional photographer took very beautiful photos of two of our pieces. The magazine chose to shoot our recycled polyester dress and our pineapple leather jacket. We really appreciated this opportunity.

The first Podcast

Following a competition between a large number of eco-responsible brands, we had the chance to be interviewed by The GoodGoods. The Goodgoods is the first eco-responsible fashion media in France. It is present in the form of a webzine but also in the form of a podcast and on Instagram. The principle is to create a directory of ethical brands, like a “boutique map”.

This interview with Loane and Frédérique, the founders of LO NEEL, was broadcast as a podcast, which you can listen to right here: lPODCAST THE GOODGOODS
