BEHIND THE SCENES OF OUR FIRST SHORT FILM

We shot our first short film in March 2019 in Montmorency, in an old house which at the time was under construction.

In order to present our pieces to the public for the first time, it seemed natural to us to create a film that would both promote LO NEEL pieces while communicating the spirit and values of the brand. The film was not only for advertising purposes, but the intention was also artistic. Indeed, promoting LO NEEL pieces means promoting a lifestyle, values and commitment while evoking our various inspirations. So collaborating with artists was essential to us, in order to produce an atypical, artistic and poetic film.

If we managed to obtain such a result from our first group project, it is thanks to the bringing together of the individual talents of an extremely motivated young team!

Three talented women took care of the artistic direction : Loane, Frédérique and Isabelle Nicolas. The artistic direction is at the origin of the development and imagination of the project. Together, they imagined every scene, shot, layout and action of the models. They were assisted by Camille Roux.

The scenography

Flore Billy, a student at an art school, imagined and set up the scenography . Kalki Rielland, another essential member of the LO NEEL team, assisted Flore. The scenographer's job is to meet the expectations of the artistic direction. Flore was able to accurately transcribe the Indian inspiration of LO NEEL by collecting and arranging accessories and decorative pieces on the different filming scenes.

All these ideas were brought to life thanks to our team of audiovisual and logistics technicians!

Clothilde Leclercq did the framing and the lighting director was Aurèle Mazi. Finally our make-up artists Inès Stepien and Charline Collin who did a great job. It is thanks to their talent that the images are of such quality.

Finally, we had the chance to shoot 4 superb models : Matilda Marty, Flore, Kalki and Milla Rielland, who knew how to embody the LO NEEL spirit by wearing our pieces wonderfully.

This work was carried out in a bucolic atmosphere, to which we added rock touches. If LO NEEL offers a very bohemian/chic style through its first collection, this one includes certain pieces with a more rock'n'roll style.

Through this first short film, we wanted to introduce you to the magical, multicultural and ethical universe of LO NEEL. From Paris to New Delhi, we drew from different sources of inspiration. Thus our first collection represents more ethical fashion because it is 100% vegan.

We are very proud to present our short film to you. We put all our heart into it and hope you like it!
